      Jamie has striven to give off an energy of warmth, someone who supports others and is easy to turn to, and much of how they regard people is meant to reflect that. They go out of their way to welcome people and befriend them upon first meeting them, hopefully making them feel more comfortable with a friendly face there. They like to get to know more about others, curious about what people care about so they can support them. Though they are rather brash in how they act and don't seem to have too many worries on their mind at any given point.

      That being said, they have quite a way to go before reaching that, as they still appear to lack the full emotional maturity to handle every situation with grace. Torn between their impulsive reaction to make a joke out of everything and their desire to support everyone they meet, they do try very hard to make sure they come off as good-natured in spite of their teasing. Because they don’t seem to care too much about serious topics, they tend to come off as thoughtless, like there isn’t much to them beyond a friendly face who’s just a little behind on growing up. This isn't an image they're currently trying to change. When faced with people who disapprove of their actions, they often respond by digging their heels into their shenanigans even deeper and make it a personal goal to annoy them as much as possible. They don't like conforming to other people's expectations when they have no business in dictating what they do, and they feel like everyone else should be free to express themselves as well.

      After a few conversations with Jamie, one can likely pick up on the fact that beyond all the jokes and the sarcasm and the refusal to bend to expectation, they have a deeply optimistic and caring heart that they want to show to others. They just seem to have a little bit of difficulty with figuring out how. Believing that they have to support everybody to be considered supportive, they end up spreading themselves too thin and need to take time for themselves to recover. Often. So as much as they try, they can be unreliable with how much of their attention they can give to another person. When they feel their own distress, they will try to mask it for the sake of others, but it does tend to show more than they seem to realize.
