Hospitable - Insouciant - Generous

    ↳  Alphonse is often considered a hospitable man, having served his people and community with a kind and welcoming disposition. He was raised in the philosophy that making a good first impression is a key to being appreciated. With being an older gentleman, he shows a lack of concern or worry, and is generally calm in day-to-day situations. He’s developed the proper skills in handling those situations and how to resolve conflict. Outside of his family business, Alphonse is generous; even if it’s from the first meeting with him, he would go out of his way to cook a steak dinner for you, or give a bigger tip than usual, etc.

    ↳  Having served in the navy, Alphonse has a sharp, observant eye for anything out of place or suspicious. However, despite his hospitality, he’s rather lenient to the people he’s befriended or has a positive view on, giving them the benefit of the doubt. His leniency leads to his heightened sense of morality for his age. He especially expresses this trait if anyone does an act he finds dubious, and would often lecture them.

Sentimental - Repentant - Defensive

    ↳  When asked about his life or anything else moving, Alphonse would often feel sentimental to the point of vulnerability, whether it be out of nostalgia or on general emotion. Hell, he even gets a little teary-eyed after reading a cheesy romance novel or reading an article contained with tragedy. Unfortunately, he’s become more regretful than he would easily admit. This is because of his previously aggressive nature when he was younger, and would often think of his past actions, or how he would resolve things differently if he had the chance. Despite mellowing down as he got older, Alphonse displays defensive traits, always having one reason to explain his behavior in fear of false accusations, jump to conclusions, or even become aggressive when he doesn’t need to.
