Character Creation Guide
A link to the .PSD, .PNG, and .clip files. along with the fonts needed for the app, can be found here.

You can also find the links to this and many other resources on the Player Resources page.
Visual Portion
The only required art is a full-body reference and a head-shot. It's preferable that these be different images but that is not a requirement. Please do not use dollmakers and/or Picrews. If using commissioned art or bases, make sure proper credit is given to the original artist.
All characters must be human. There are no fantasy races. When considering design, the group takes play in a modern-day setting that's slightly in the future.
Usage Guide
-
Download the .psd, .clip, or .png file of the visual portion.
-
Be sure to remove the example art and text before working on it!
-
Your character's first and last name should be placed on the tab on the top left side of the template. This is written in the font Poor Richard at 15px.
-
Your character's title goes on the banner below the headshot. This should be written in the font Spectral at 13px.
-
There are 3 options for headshot frames and 2 options for title banners. You can mix and match the various options provided to make your own personalized version of the app.
-
Additionally, you can personalize the app even more to include your character's "stamp" next to their headshot.
-
A stamp texture is included in the .psd and .clip files as an overlay layer. There's also a separate .png of the butterfly stamp and then the circle by itself just in case you need it. If making something like that isn't your cup of tea, feel free to delete it.

-
All characters who are employed by the Evergreens should have the bronze pin somewhere in their design. Only immediate family will have access to the gold pins. Click here for a reference image of the pins. You may download them here. Both links are also present on the Player Resources page.
-
Please pay attention to which fonts you're using for the app (Poor Richard for the Name, and Spectral for the Title) and do not edit any aspect of the headshot portion (i.e. adding images on top of it, changing the background color) since it will be used for for your character's website icon!
Written Portion
The Player Character Submission Form will feature the following information. All information listed is required unless specified otherwise. You're welcome to link external pages (Toyhou.se pages, Google Docs, etc.) for personal aesthetics and expanded information, but the information provided in the form is what will be put onto your character's profile.
When writing out your character's origin, please only include what your character would publicly share. Any details that they'd leave out should be kept hidden. Character secrets are fun to have! Backgrounds will be discussed more in-depth with the head mod.

NPC Creation
Accepted player characters can have a +1 that would come to the project with them. These characters can be submitted as NPCs.
NPCs should not have priority over the player character however. This means they will only interact with others minimally and are only here to fill out the guest list.
NPCs will not be available for submission during Chapters 3 & 4. Plan for this accordingly.
Usage Guide
-
Download the .psd, .clip, or .png file of the visual template.
-
Be sure to remove the example art and text before working on it!
-
Do not exceed the borders with the text or art. The .clip and .psd versions have a "MIRROR" layer you can clip the headshot art to.
-
The font is Spectral at 65px (yes, we know it's huge, sorry).
-
Fill out the NPC Submission Form with a blurb about your NPC! If you need examples of how much to write, check out the NPC portions on our chapter cast lists!
-
Please try to keep your bio under 500 words! Any more and you risk text being cut off by the lightbox!
