Outgoing - Witty - Perceptive - Open-minded

    ↳  Hatter is first and foremost an outgoing, extroverted person who enjoys interacting with other people and has a very quick, witty sense of humour as well as a (sometimes surprisingly) solid head on his shoulders. He generally always has a smile on his face and comes across as a friendly person, perhaps a little too friendly sometimes when he starts getting overly familiar and acting as though you're best friends. Despite this, he's also very perceptive and can tell very easily when he's making people genuinely uncomfortable (beyond the base level of discomfort he intentionally aims to create). Does this mean he always stops being a nuisance? Absolutely not, but it does mean he's self-aware, and he does in fact have a moral compass. On that note, he's also a very open-minded, non-judgemental person who tends to hear people out before making his mind up on most things. Very much 'you do you as long as it's not hurting anyone'.

Mellow - Playful - Flirtatious - Shameless

    ↳  Relating to the last point of him being open-minded, Hatter is also generally pretty mellow and easy-going. He's not particularly high-energy, and doesn't get worked up very easily at all. That's not to say that he isn't playful, though, because he absolutely is. Much of his time is spent harmlessly bantering and/or messing with people, whether he's being flirtatious or simply having fun. Another important note is that he is pretty much entirely shameless. Anyone that knows him will vouch for the fact that he seemingly does not feel embarrassment in any capacity, and even thrives on it to a degree, seeing as a lot of his japes are at his own expense.

Audacious - Flippant - Mischievous - Distrustful

    ↳  Speaking of japes, Hatter is also very audacious and has a tendency to get himself into some... interesting situations as a result. Let's just say he's accidentally caused many a fight in his time and shows no signs of having learned his lesson. His flippant nature paired with his mischievous tendencies mean he's practically allergic to being serious at any given moment. This is probably largely down to his hedonistic desire to do things that he finds fun over everything else, but it could also be down to how distrustful he is of people. He undoubtedly uses humour as a defense mechanism because he hates feeling vulnerable. After all, if you already humiliate yourself intentionally and refuse to feel shame, how can other people do it to you?
