Hilbert Fosse / The Huntsman
by Bean
Age — 38
Personality
+ Positive
Companionly - Diligent - Unpretentious
Hilbert's always a great guy to have around as a friend! He's always got a chummy attitude, despite everything, and is ready to have fun with just about anything. Life is what you make of it. So it's all about working hard and playing hard. He may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but Hilbert isn't completely oblivious. Responsibility takes priority now more than ever. He has siblings to feed and protect. If there's a job to be done, he'll do it.

He's honestly just a big teddy bear though. Hilbert wears his heart of gold on his sleeve and constantly tries his best to make sure other people are doing okay. He's more than willing to help out a stranger in need even if it's against his better judgment. Despite his age, he still acts much like a young boy with how much energy he has. He's always on the go and never seems to shut off. He's very excitable even over the little things. Now whether he's just naturally spry or if it's just a way to cope by pushing himself through it, that's hard to say. It's definitely a lot of both.
In addition, Hilbert's a pretty humble guy. He doesn't act like he's better than anyone nor does he try to impress other people with obvious exaggerations. He's just 100% himself. He makes his intentions and priorities clear and that's just that.

= Neutral
Candid - Earthy - Talkative
What's life without a little risk? He's very headstrong and never backs down from a challenge. Hilbert's willing to try anything at least once. He's got nothing to hide. If this northern country boy has something to say then he's going to let you know one way or another. He doesn't believe in sugar-coating. That's just fancy lying and he isn't going to stoop to being a liar. He was raised better than that. The truth sometimes hurts and that was just a part of life.
Some people may think he's vulgar but Hilbert doesn't shy away from saying the things on his mind even if it's considered gross or distasteful. Be warned. Once he gets going, he doesn't know when to stop. Hilbert will talk your ear off about anything he can if you give him the chance to.

- Negative
Dense - Hot-headed - Tactless
Head empty, no thoughts. Full disclosure, Hilbert's kind of dumb. It's easy for him to overlook something or just not understand what's going on. Although he's pretty slow, he tries his best. Though trying his best doesn't necessarily stop someone from being able to pull the wool over his eyes. He's the kind of guy that takes everything at face value or not at all. If you tell him something, he'll just accept it as that without much skepticism if any at all. It's all about confidence too! Besides, he doesn't like to distrust people.
However, Hilbert's quick to anger if you know what buttons to push. And those buttons are not hard to find. His temper, unfortunately, tends to be pretty explosive too. He's definitely an act first, ask questions later kind of guy. Hilbert constantly goes on his gut instincts even if he's entirely in the wrong. He really should try to stop and think more. Hilbert doesn't watch what he says or does which could lead to a lot of (unintentional) rude comments or uncomfortable moments. He's a bit too blunt for his own good.
