Lalita Bordoloi / The Horologist
by Taku
Age — 24
Personality
+ Positive
(+) Amiable, Passionate, Humble, Tolerant, Allocentric (+)
Friendly, polite and an overall pleasant person to be around, it’s pretty hard to be in a bad mood when around Lalita. Just like a sunflower who always faces the sun, Lalita likes to look at the bright side of things more than anything. The horologist is very passionate about her interests, be it hobbies or her career! The love and dedication she puts into every piece she creates is unmistakable. As a result, her timepieces are incredibly popular in India but this isn’t a fact that Lalita likes to flaunt. The girl is actually quite humble, just happy to have her creations noticed and making her family proud.
Everyone thinks differently, and Lalita is no stranger to others disagreeing with her beliefs. However, Lalita strives to be as open-minded as possible, eager to learn new perspectives. In the end, Lalita is someone who likes to focus her energy on other people more than on herself, wanting to make everyone happy.

= Neutral
(=) Independent, Perfectionist, Firm (=)
While Lalita is more than happy to cooperate with others, there is no denying that the horologist is someone who likes to do things herself the most. She’s learned to rely on herself, wishing to not be a burden on others. However, there is another reason as to why she prefers to be independent. Lalita is a bit of a perfectionist. When things don’t go the way she has planned, it causes a great deal of stress for the girl. Lalita isn’t someone who changes her firm beliefs easily. While she’s perfectly willing to change them if she’s given enough information, her opinions aren’t easily swayed.

- Negative
(-) Short-tempered, Transparent, Deceptive, Superstitious, Conformist (-)
Despite Lalita’s sunny disposition, the girl actually has quite the short temper. Little things can irritate her and while she isn’t one to simply explode with anger, her displeasure is often very noticeable on her face. Transparent, Lalita isn’t someone who can keep her emotions hidden easily. It’s almost comical how easy it is to read her mind, and even more so with how dishonest she can be. Lalita seems to lie very easily even though it’s pretty obvious when she does. Though her lies seem to be focused more on things about herself. She firmly believes that her most authentic self is something that should be kept to herself.
In the end, Lalita is a conformist. Afraid of standing out and possibly disappointing her friends and family. But as always, Lalita likes to look on the bright side of things and hopes for things to get better someday. Her desire to be accepted eventually led to her becoming quite superstitious, wanting to avoid all things “bad luck.”
