    Lili’s battery is powered by compliments from others; the sweet words “you’ve made my day.” She thrives off of the positive impact she can have on the world around her. She is the first person to offer an ear when troubled, a hand when struggling, and words of encouragement when feeling defeated. She may try to give advice but there’s no guarantee it will always be the best advice. Lili is optimistic (at times too optimistic). She believes any situation can be turned around into something good if you give it your all. This isn’t always true, most people know that. But Lili will always hold onto that hope. No matter what others say and tell her, her ability to believe in the good in the world and the power of determination has never waned.

 

    This definitely has not always worked in her favor. She will always give someone the benefit of the doubt and a second chance, because in her mind everyone deserves at least that. This makes it hurt all the more when others don't live up to her expectations for what life can yield or if they criticize her beliefs. She doesn't handle negative criticism well, partially because it would take very sharp words to make her really believe that you meant to hurt her. Lili wants to take words at face value; Backhanded compliments or sarcasm tend to go over her head, especially if you are someone she trusts and loves. She shuts down her own gut feelings to place her trust in those she's developed strong bonds with. She's never really understood the saying "Don't place your eggs in one basket."

    Negative energy isn't something she's willing to put up with. She can mentally twist anything to turn a situation around- or at least, she'll absolutely try. Even despite all her phobias, she refuses to describe herself as 'living in fear' and rather… taking the extra steps to live peacefully.
